This pair was originally made as a test garment to develop the Lee Ave Loose Flare fit for our upcoming herringbone denim Patch Pocket Work jeans. The result came out exactly as intended—no revisions needed—which makes this the first finished example of the Lee Ave fit.
Because of that, this pair sits somewhere between a sample and a finished product. It also introduced a new fabric option for the style, using durable 12 oz. cotton canvas instead of denim.
About the Fit
The Lee Ave fit is a loose flare silhouette with a clean, workwear-inspired structure. It features a high waist, a relaxed upper block, and a subtle wide flare through the leg that gives it shape without feeling exaggerated.
It’s designed to carry the look of traditional work pants while still feeling intentional and refined. This is the first pair ever made in the Lee Ave fit. We’ve considered holding it for our archives, but for now, it’s available for purchase.
Fabric & Construction
This version is made from 12 oz. cotton canvas, offering a firm hand and durability that’s consistent with classic workwear. The canvas gives the pants a structured feel and a clean surface that will break in over time.
The patch pocket construction keeps things functional and straightforward, with a focus on usability and durability rather than excess detailing.
Each pair is cut and sewn in our Brooklyn studio, using the same production methods we apply to our denim styles.
