    Chainstitch Hemming

Posted by Adam on 13th Oct 2020

I hardly ever post reviews online but this service deserves it. In addition, the turnaround was quick and customer service was awesome. Living in a small town it was impossible to find someone to hem jeans correctly. Williamsburg Garment has earned a loyal customer.

    Chainstitch

If you need to alter your jeans you better get the chainstitch hemming. It’s the only way that will allow your jeans to look just like when you bought them. Any other way and it’ll never look right.

    Chain Stitch Hemming

The mailing all went smoothly, and the work is immaculate. I'm very happy with the work, and will definitely be a return customer. This was definitely higher quality work than I have had done elsewhere in NYC. Thank you!

    Chainstitch Hem

Beautiful chainstitch and bar-tack on my heavyweight, 21oz raw selvedge denim. Very well done. Sending them in and receiving them back finished took just over a week. Not bad! 10/10 would do again.

Order chainstitch hemming online for any brand of jeans or pants that are constructed similarly to jeans.

We revolutionized online chainstitch hemming services, setting the bar for others to follow. We made it quick and simple to get factory-quality denim alterations with only a few clicks, just like buying anything online. There is no need to request quotes over the phone or submit forms.

Can you get jeans hemmed if you don't live in the USA? Yes, we expertly hem jeans and handle other denim tailoring requests from clients throughout the globe. Please click the button below for information about international shipping.

Original Hem

An "Original Hem" is when a tailor reattaches the tattered hems of your shortened jeans. This is a terrible jeans alteration. It's dumb and unnecessary, so we won't do it. Our blog post explains.

Brands Serviced

We service most all brands of jeans. Our most serviced jeans by volume are from big brands like Levi's, Lee, and Wrangler, closely followed by niche brands like Gustin and Nudie because we can add bartacks.

Denim enthusiasts who know and really care about their jeans choose us to handle their denim because we pay attention to all the details. Iron Hearts and Momotaro Jeans come to us by the stacks. Other Japanese favorites, The Flat Head, Samurai, Oni Denim, Sugar Cane, Orslow, Studio D'Artisan, Pure Blue Japan, Tanuki,
Full Count and The Strike Gold fans love us because we can handle heavyweight denim. American made regulars serviced include 3Sixteen, Brave Star, Roy Denim, Railcar, Leftfield NYC, Tellason, Raleigh Denim, Taylor Stitch, and Freenote Cloth. We also hem a great deal of Naked & Famous, Supreme, Unbranded, Big John, and A.P.C.'s, often with the request to add a regular-sized chain stitch hem.

We do not perform multiple thread stitching construction as seen on many True Religion and Buckle jeans. Only chain-stitch hems can be provided
