Review raw denim, straight leg American made jeans measurements from Tellason Jeans and Williamsburg Garment Company – John Graham Mellor vs South 2nd Street
Here, we review straight jeans from two of the new breed of American made jeans brands which both feature mainly raw denim. The Tellason John Graham Mellor sizing are found to be closest to our South 2nd Street jeans, but very different in shape. The waist opening of both jeans are very close, ¼” larger on the Tellason jeans but also ¾” shorter in rise, placing the jeans lower on the hips. When combined with the 1 ¼” larger seat, 1” longer inseam and 1 ¾” smaller thighs on the John Graham Mellor, it proves to be oddly different from the Williamsburg S 2nd Street jeans. Our conclusion, you would wear the same size in both jeans but besides the jeans having nearly the same measurements from the knee to the leg opening, the fit above the knee will be very different.
