Williamsburg vs. Levi's Fit Guide
Here we review and compare two American branded slim jeans, both fits measured in raw denim styles. The Levi’s reviewed are imports and the priced reflects that. Williamsburg jeans are made in the USA mainly constructed in American made denim or Japanese fabrics.
The Levi’s 511 measurements are close to the Williamsburg Grand Street everywhere except the thigh and leg opening. The Levi's 511 leg opening is ¾” smaller, front rise ¼” longer and thigh 1” smaller than the Grand Street fit. The seat measurements are close, the Williamsburg jeans ¼” larger with ¾” bigger waistband opening. We believe you should wear the same size in both styles.
Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements. When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
