Light Knits & T-Shirt Hemming Alteration Service
Looking for an expert t-shirt tailor to shorten the length of your tee while maintaining a clean, professional finish on the hem? Here you may order knit shirts and t-shirt hemming services.
This service includes true coverstitch hemming (stretch stitch) from a factory sewing machine to provide a clean finish at the hemline. If necessary, we also order custom thread colors to match the rest of your garment's stitching.
Unless you want the knit band removed and replaced with a flat-edge hem with cover-stitching, this option is not for shirts with rib bands at the bottom. Blindstitch hems will be cover-stitched.

$5 Up-charge for hemming alterations of 2-inch or shorter. Extra effort must be taken to remove the original sewing by hand to open the hem and cut off a small amount. Length alterations of 1 1/4-inches or more do not require opening the hem. Watch our short video below to see the process.
