Prices: raw denim shirts and jeans made in Brooklyn

By Maurice Malone Published June 23, 2018

The price of our raw denim shirt has recently undergone an adjustment, and there are compelling reasons for this change. Firstly, each shirt isn't simply handmade. As a genuine sign of our craftsmanship, it comes with my personal autograph as the designer of Williamsburg Garment Company.

Furthermore, the fabric itself plays a crucial role in determining the shirt's value. Our shirts are meticulously crafted from Cone White Oak denim, proudly made in the USA. This particular type of denim, in its current form, might soon become scarce, adding to its exclusivity. Given its uniqueness and quality, the previous price tag of $189 was more an act of understatement than a reflection of its intrinsic value.

The production of these raw denim shirts is an art form in itself, with timelines ranging from a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on design intricacies and schedules.

It's also worth noting that several other styles in our collection will undergo price revisions. This includes the Japanese Black and Gray Selvedge, Black Cone White Oak Selvedge, and Light Weight Cone White Oak Selvedge jeans. All these products share a distinct quality: each one is handcrafted in Brooklyn, embodying the same dedication to detail and craftsmanship.

In summary, this price adjustment isn't merely a monetary change. It's a recognition of the unparalleled value, craftsmanship, and authenticity of products genuinely "Made in Brooklyn".
