A guide to review and compare the women's fit & measurements of Williamsburg's mid-rise tube straight fit to Levi's 712 slim jeans
Our American made Williamsburg Wythe Avenue Tube Straight women’s jeans are exactly what the fit description sounds like. A slim fitting, narrow leg jean which is shaped to have a little ease throughout with a good amount of stretch for comfort. Compared to the women’s Levi’s 712 jeans, the Williamsburg jeans have a higher rise by about 2 ½ inches. Because lower rise jeans usually have a larger waistband opening because the jeans sit on the hips rather than the waistline, we would assume this Levi’s jean fits about a size smaller than the Wythe Ave.
Overall, all measurements of the Levi’s 712 jeans indicate to us, it is a size down, or more fitted jean than ours. If you own a pair of 712’s, we would suggest you order a size down in the Wythe Ave.
Measurements are taken from actual store bought samples. Our recorded specs may differ from a brands official spec as sometimes final production products slightly differ from targeted measurements, or we may measure slightly different than other jeans brands.
When comparing sizing from top denim brands, please note, we use total circumference measurements, while others may use 1/2-circumference measurements in fit charts. Some information when not available to us may be taken from the brands website or a brands retailers websites. In no way do we state our specs or other information related to competing denim brands is 100% accurate. To get the most accurate info on all brands products you should always refer to that brands website or contact the brand directly.
