Temporary Service Notice

Tapering & Waist Alteration Turnaround Times

Due to a scheduled staff vacation, turnaround times for our tapering and waistband alteration services are currently extended.

Standard Service

Orders placed now through the end of August are expected to ship sometime in September. Beginning in September, our standard turnaround time will return to approximately 4–5 weeks.

Rush Service

Our 1–3 business day rush service is temporarily unavailable until September.

The 4–10 business day rush service remains available, though capacity is limited during this period. If order volume becomes too high, we may need to pause this rush option temporarily. If that happens, we'll post notice here before doing so, and any rush order already placed will still be honored on the turnaround time promised.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while our staff member enjoys a well-deserved vacation. Our goal remains the same: delivering the highest quality tapering and waistband alterations possible.

Jeans & Pants Tapering Service

We taper jeans and pants to narrow the leg for a slimmer fit. First decision: taper just below the knee, or all the way from the hem up through the knee.

Choose Your Tapering Style

• Knee Tapering — Keeps the upper leg as-is and narrows only the leg opening below the knee. Good if you're already happy with the fit through the knee. Select "KNEE."
• Standard Tapering — We taper both the knee and leg opening for a smooth, proportional look. The most common choice when you don't have exact measurements in mind. Select "STANDARD."
• Custom Tapering — Give us your own measurements, from a favorite pair or a past order. We taper from the hem to the knee, then blend into the thigh — so if the thigh width differs from the jeans you're altering, the fit above the knee may vary slightly. Select "CUSTOM."

Rush Services

• 1–3 Day Rush — Highest priority, completed in 1–3 business days. 
• 4–10 Day Rush — Completed in 4–10 business days.

Both exclude weekends and holidays. Timeframes are estimates, not guarantees — staffing, order volume, and alteration complexity can affect them. Rush fees are non-refundable once work has started.

Standard Service

Completed as soon as possible, after rush orders.

Good to Know

• Tapering only — we don't alter tailored clothing or lightweight, fine fabrics.
• Chain-stitch hemming is included.
• Measurements may be off by a small margin.
• Alterations are non-refundable, and altered garments can't be returned.
• We ship anywhere in the USA and internationally.
• Pricing is per jean or pant.
• 2-way shipping covers delivery to and from your address in the USA; 1-way covers delivery to you only.
• International orders: ship to us at your own cost; we return-ship using your selected method.
• Package insurance covers up to $100 in damage unless you purchase additional coverage.
