Williamsburg Garment Co. vs. H&M fit guide
This guide reviews the men's H&M Slim Low Waist vs Slim Fit from Williamsburg, to compare the measurements of two slim fit jeans. Both jeans were measured from raw denim models. The H&M denim has a little stretch, while the Williamsburg jeans are non-stretch (Williamsburg offer both stretch and non-stretch denims).
H&M refers to its jean as a slim low waist but our front rise is ¼” lower and we classify the Grand Street as a mid-rise. Overall, the upper block of the H&M jeans is slightly larger. The waist opening measures a full inch more and seat 1 1/4 inch more. However, the thigh and leg opening are a bit smaller.
Both jeans are close enough to say, you should wear the same size in both jeans. The Grand Street would be bit more fitted at the waist.
Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements. When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
