Williamsburg vs. Citizens of Humanity Fit Guide
In this review of the men’s Citizens of Humanity Bowery Standard Slim fit jeans, we compare our South 4th Street skinny jeans to contrast the fits. Like the C of H jeans, the Williamsburg jeans shown in raw denim, are also available in black stone-wash as well as jet-black colors. At first glance, the Citizens of Humanity jeans look to be skinnies. In some searches you can find the Citizen jean described as a slim while others call it a skinny. On the brands website, we found the fit described as the Bowery Standard Slim, and that’s what we went with.
Reviewing the measurements between the two styles, you can see the waistlines have equal specs. The rest of the upper block of the Bowery Standard jean is slightly larger than the South 4th. We can safely estimate, you should wear the same size in both fits, but expect a slightly slimmer fit and longer inseam with the Williamsburg jeans. Check the chart below for differences in size.
Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements. When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
