Denim alterations on Gustin Jeans

Very few brands add bar tacking on the hems. One of those few brands that do is Gustin, which uses a red bar tack on indigo jeans. Although we think it is unnecessary and maybe more about branding or decoration, bar tacking does add an extra layer of protection. It helps to keep the chain stitch from unraveling, because the stitch is made to be easily pulled apart in one direction if you can grab it, just right from the end.
