Williamsburg fade review: Magnificent fades from stretch denim

These light-colored, distressed look jeans came to us for hole repairs through our Alterations Services and we had to photograph. For those not familiar with the process of fading raw denim jeans, it would be hard to believe these jeans were once dark in color with a slightly firm hand feel.
It's so old, it was made in 2013 before we moved all jeans production to the USA. The first stretch selvedge Grand Street used Cone Denim made in China. Later, we used the same Cone Denim stretch selvedge fabric, but it was made in the USA at the White Oak Mill in North Carolina.
Take a look at the whiskers around the hips, we can see this customer has put a lot of wear and stress along the hips area. At the lower thighs, you can see pretty awesome chevron fading around the inseams. Based on the stack fades at the lower leg, you can see the jeans fit a little long and the customer wears them without cuffing. This pair has seen a good amount of wear and it shows.
