Williamsburg vs. 3Sixteen Fit Guide
The jeans analyzed have similar weight denims. The Williamsburg jean is produced in Cone White American made selvedge and the 3Sixteen in Japanese made selvedge. Both are button-fly jeans sewn in the USA.
The SL-100X has a higher rise and smaller waist opening than the Grand Street. The seat of the straight leg SL-100X has 1 1/2 inches more room. The thighs are equal in measurement, but the leg is slimmer and tapers to a smaller leg opening on the Williamsburg denim, just as a slim fit should when compared to a straight leg jean.
Our conclusion, you would wear the same size in both jeans. The leg shape and rise are the biggest differences here.
Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements. When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
