Williamsburg vs. Uniqlo Fit Guide
The measurement of two different raw denim men's jeans with stretch are juxtaposed, Uniqlo’s slim fit straight jeans and Williamsburg South 4th Street skinny jeans. Our men’s skinny jeans are only slightly smaller or the same in every area except the thigh. The measurements in both models are close enough that we believe you should wear the same size in styles.
As a note, while conducting this review, we found it very odd that the measurements of the Uniqlo slim jeans were smaller than the Uniqlo skinny jeans in multiple areas. The thigh of the Uniqlo slim fit is bizarrely smaller than both the Uniqlo skinny jean and Williamsburg skinny jean. In fact, the Uniqlo slim is smaller than the brands very own skinny everywhere except the rear rise, leg opening, and inseam length as measured on our store-bought samples. We took the measurements several times to make sure there was no mistake.
Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements. When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
