Women’s Levi's 712 Fit Guide vs Union Ave High Waisted Skinny Jeans

A guide to review and compare the fit & measurements of Williamsburg's high waisted women's skinny jeans to Levi's 712 slim fit

While making our women’s Levi's 712 fit guide, we found the waist opening of the Levi’s jeans a bit small for a low-rise. Compared to our Union Ave. high waisted jeans, the 712 jeans have a waist opening only ½” larger, yet the rise is 2” shorter. A rise of 7 ¾” on a size 26 women’s jean usually means it sits low on the hips. Classified as a mid-rise slim, there is a lot that puzzles us about this fit, so we can’t say you should wear the same size in both styles.

Other fit notes, the Levi’s jeans are larger at the knees and leg opening, while smaller at the thighs. The fit at the seat area is close.
