Williamsburg vs. Levi's Fit Guide

This is review and comparison between two American denim brands men’s slim fit vs slim tapered jeans. The Levi’s jean is an import, while Williamsburg jeans are American made, produced in Cone White Oak denim, made in the USA.

The Hope Street is slimmer than the 511 all through the legs except the thigh measurement. The Levi’s jean has a 1” higher rise and 2” smaller waist opening. Hope Street is straighter from the hips to the waistband and we describe as a tweeter jean. The larger waist opening allows guys with smaller legs to go down a size for a slimmer fit. On the other hand, guys built a little wider at the waistline get a great fit. Normal body types require a belt. It’s difficult to say if you would wear the same size in both jeans because of Hopes fit type.

Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements. When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
