A denim guide to compare the fit and measurements of our Driggs Ave women's mid-rise slim selvedge jeans vs Levi's 505C slim fit jeans
The Williamsburg Driggs Ave and Levi’s 505C are close enough in measurements that we believe you would wear the same size in both styles. Whenever comparing measurements of a non-stretch denim to stretch denim, the measurements of the non-stretch jean needs to be a little larger to match the fit and level of comfort of a jean produced in stretch denim. Example, we believe the difference between rigid denim jeans and jeans with a medium level of stretch should be about one inch in the seat, as is the variance here. In other areas except the rise, where the spec is equal, the Levi’s 505C jeans are only slightly larger than the variance. These areas are the knee, thigh and waist. The bottom opening of the Levi’s jeans will have a more tapered look.
