Men’s slim fit jeans compared – Gap 1969 vs Williamsburg Grand Street

A denim review of sizing between Gap’s dark washed men’s 1969 slim fit jeans and the Williamsburg raw denim men’s slim fit Grand street jeans. In the sizing chart review of the Gap 1969 jeans, you can see overall, they are generally larger than the Grand Street in the seat & waist areas. The Gap jeans measurements are 1 1/2” larger at the waistband and 2 1/4” bigger in the seat with equal thigh spec. The 1969 jeans measure longer at the front rise and inseam by ¼”. The leg opening is also 1/4” larger. We suggest ordering a size up in the Grand Street.

Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements. When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
