Gap 1969 Slim vs Williamsburg Hope Street

Hope Street is a slim tapered jean. Overall, it runs slimmer than Gap’s slim fit, which we believe leans a bit generous as most mass market brands. Both jeans have the same measurements in the waistband, noting Hope Street has the largest waistband opening throughout all Williamsburg fits The Gap 1969 jean is 3-inches larger in the seat and 1/2" bigger in the thigh. The front rise is 1/2" longer and the 34-inch inseam is 3/4" shorter . than the Williamsburg jeans. Our tapered leg opening is 3/4" smaller.

Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements. When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
