Here we review Williamsburg Garment Company’s smallest to largest fits in the men’s jeans category. Whether the jeans are raw denim or pre-washed, if they share the same fit name, the sizing should be similar.

These styles were designed to have the same waist measurements, however, a sampling from actual production reveals a slight ¼” difference in spec on average. The two fits are also designed to be very different. The S 4th Street, our men’s skinny jean, are the slimmest in the collection. Cut to be narrow without being skintight, means excess fabric around areas like the seat, tight and knees, usually given for ease in other fits, is excluded in this fit. The South 4th Street contours the body, while the South 2nd Street is the exact opposite. It’s all about ease and movement without being baggy. The fit of the Straight Relaxed S. 2nd is modern and easy going. Slimming in the right areas, the leg falls straight down from the knees. We built the 2 fits so that no matter which model you prefer, you would wear the same size in both styles.

Measurements are taken from actual production samples. Our recorded specs may differ slightly from jean to jean, so we average and take into consideration the targeted measurements.

When comparing sizing, please note, we use total circumference measurements in our fit charts. Others may use 1/2-circumference.
