Williamsburg Garment Company
Our women's selvedge jeans are produced in the new Driggs Avenue fit. Slim and narrow with just a bit of ease throughout, giving the jeans a feminine non-skinny silhouette. The jeans are on the high side of mid-rise and have a raw appearance but are actually cold-rinsed with softener. Washed just long enough to set in the shrinkage while preserving their dark indigo color.
The fabric in this production comes from some of the last produced American made stretch selvedge denim from Cone Mills White Oak, purchase months before the more than 112-year-old factory closed at the end of 2017. The 11.25 ounce red-line selvedge makes for exceptional comfort and movement. Because the jeans are pre-washed, you don't have to consider major changes in growth and shrinkage as with raw denim jeans.
The help you create natural denim fading and authentically aged jeans, we did not add any artificial whisker lines or distressed effects. We simply gave this style a cold-water rinse wash and added softener to achieve a clean dark wash that pre-shrinks the jeans. We left it all up to you to create your own fading which is unique to your body and daily wear.
The jeans have copper metal buttons and rivets with black nails accenting the center of the rivets. The pocket bags are medium weight twill with American Flag inspired prints.
We are an American brand producing jeans sewn in the USA of denim made in North Carolina. We thank you for supporting our brand and mission.
